- Business Link provides a wide range of help for businesses affected by the credit crunch or to those looking to implement 'recession proofing' activities. Business Link also provides information on starting up, finance and grants, tax, sales and marketing, IT and ecommerce.
- Salisbury Chambers of Commerce and Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce offer information and advice on subjects ranging from training courses through lobbying services to local trading and networking.
- SWRDA provides support for inward investment and business growth.
- National Federation of Enterprise Agencies provides information on business mentoring and training, seminars and business support services.
- Federation of Small Business provides information on business news and policy, plus legal and financial advice.
- Small Business Advice Service offers business start up and planning guides, plus advice on selling online and a business health check service.
- Smart Business for those employing up to 250 people, who can benefit from free and impartial support, workshops on website marketing, security and grant funding for e-technologies.
